The Biggest Loser!

Alan and I have an idea, that we think would be really fun! Alan was supposed to have a "Biggest Loser" contest at his work and he was really excited to participate and he was motivated to win. His work canceled the contest, so we thought we should still do it, but with family and friends. This is how it would probably work; Everyone that wants to participate will put money in the pot (probably around $50) and we would allot a certain amount of time, like 3 to 6 months?? And we would have some sort of weigh in at the beginning and we could do a money penalty if you gain weight week to week. Anyway the goal is to see who can loose the most weight % wise in the allotted time. The winner takes home all the money. If we had 6 people participate that would be a winning of $300 plus the penalty money. What do you think? What rules should we go with if you are interested and any other ideas to go with it?

Things going on with our family-
Alan is doing really well at his job at Lamar, he is closing allot of deals!
Victoria finished her reading recovery program at school (a program to help struggling readers), and she is now reading above the level of the rest of her class. She usually gets 100% on her spelling tests and does really well on her math homework.
We have enrolled Victoria and Brayden in Gymnastics at All American Gymnastics. They are having a blast and already improving. Plus, I love to go watch, they usually have 6 or so classes going at a time (it is a huge gym), and its fun to watch the elite gymnast's do there cool floor routines and my kids in their classes.
Brayden is doing well learning his alphabet, his is now on o.
Audrey is starting to talk more, her new words are "Acker" for cracker, "go" for grape. She loves to give kisses and be held.
New baby is measuring a little big, but the doc said it might just be a growth spurt. Baby kicks allot and is starting to give me heart burn.
I am really into frugal shopping right now. I am always excited to get the paper on Sunday so I can cut the coupons out and put them in my newly organized coupon book I made. It feels so good to save so much money. Some deals I have gotten recently are: Orville Redenbockers kettle corn popcorn for 66 cents a box (they are usually 2.99). Toothpaste for 75 cents, and cereal for 94 cents. Can you see why it is so exciting:)? Also, am teaching for Saratoga Performing Arts and I love it. It is fun to help someone improve! I might be going to NYC with my sister's in law and mother in law. Which I must say would be a dream come true for me. If there is one place in the world I could go, it would be NYC. If this could happen for me, it would make my year and years to come. I have never been on an airplane (not counting when I was one), so the ride there will be a highlight in itself. We will see if it can happen! Bye ya all! April.

So I think that when we're in NYC (YAY!!!!!) we ought to eat as much as we can so we'll have more weight to lose!
